BEATON WINS BOTH TITLES IN PENTICTON!

NEX TRAX CANADIAN ARENACROSS CHAMPIONSHIP WRAPS UP IN PENTICTON!

This past weekend the final rounds of the NEX TRAX CANADIAN ARENACROSS CHAMPIONSHIP wrapped up in the beautiful Okanagan city of Penticton. Robin Gibbs and his team promoted a great event that saw good crowds and entertaining opening and half time shows.

The racing was fast and furious in all classes on the tight but entertaining hockey arena track. Blackfoot Yamaha’s Kyle Beaton came out the big winner on the weekend claiming both the AX Pro Lights and AX Pro Open titles. Leading Edge Kawasaki rider Brock Hoyer closed the point’s gap to 6 heading in to the AX Pro Lights main on Saturday night but Beaton rose to the occasion and finished off the series with wins in both main events as well as two MXP head to head wins. Penticton Honda Centre, the title sponsor of the Penticton rounds of the series brought in AMA Supercross regular Cole Siebler. Siebler ended up with one main event win and three second place finishes. Not only was the action hot in the Pro classes but the amateurs also put on a great show including the mini quads who ran neck and neck all weekend.

Nex Trax would like to thank all riders, sponsors, spectators as well as R. Gibbs Productions for their support and participation in the Nex Trax Canadian Arenacross Championship. Dates for next year will be announced in the coming weeks. Look for an expand series with more venues on WWW.ARENACROSS.CA OR WWW.MXONLINE.CA
