KAWASAKI PRESENTS FACTORY FOR A DAY 2009/2010

Nex Trax Entertainment is proud to announce Canadian Kawasaki Motors has stepped up to once again support the Canadian Arenacross Championship as well as Arenacross competitors in a big way in 2009/2010!

In addition to financial support Kawasaki, and its local dealers have stepped forward to support a "TEAM GREEN Factory Rider for a Day" program at each round of the Canadian Arenacross Championships. One lucky amateur each day will be selected to compete on a TEAM GREEN Kawasaki "2010" prepped race bike for the entire day which includes being teammates with Brock Hoyer and Teddy Maier, supplied with your own Pro Mechanic/Tech, Personalized suspension set up, and working out of the Kawasaki/Monster Energy Factory Race team transporter for the day. Bike options include a Kawasaki 65cc, 85cc, 250F, and 450F.

As if the Factory for day program isn't enough Kawasaki will also be awarding a $1500 unit credit to one amateur class per night. This represents the single largest "Non-Pro" contingency give away in Canadian History and can be used on the purchase of any new KX, KLX, or ATV model. In some cases this represent 60% of the cost of the unit.

Kawasaki will be also be supporting the event by supplying a brand new Kawasaki Teryx to first aid staff to transport riders off the track if needed.

Nex Trax would like to thank Chris Pearson and Canadian Kawasaki Motors for their tremendous support of the Canadian Arenacross Championship as well the BC Kawasaki dealers listed below.

this might sound a little foolish coming from someone whose 26, but this whole opportunity sounds really great. growing up i was always watching supercross and motocross, wishing i could be as talented as mcgrath and company from back in the mid 90s. i always wanted to race motocross but never had the chance until last summer when i had enough cash to purchase a motocross bike. now all i do is work during the week to afford to race on the weekends. but its worth it and i wouldnt trade motocross for anything. so having the chance to live an old dream of riding for a real team in a real semi would be just amazing. one of the highlights of my racing career for sure.

Hi my name is Chris van Meel. I would like to be the factory rider for the day. It would be an awesome experience. I have raced motocross for two seasons. I am 8 years old and started racing BMX when I was 4 and 1/4 midget cars at 5, but I like motorcoss the best.
My favorite Bike is my kx65 it's a 2005 and still fast. My dad is always fixing my KTM 50. He needs to make the suspension better.
I've never ridden a new bike or had a professional set it up.
My dad brags about once being a NASCAR jackman, and a TOP FUEL Mechanic, but bikes well. He's got a lot to learn.
I'd like to show him what I can do with a pro team setting up my bike. Maybe he'll buy me a new KX65. That's why I'd like to be the factory rider for the day.

My son Deegan Nuyens should be factory rider for the day beacause the whole experience would make him so happy. He loves to spend time with the older riders just hanging out with them and learning! He would be so thankful for this experience and he would learn from it also. That is why I think Deegan should be factory rider for a day!

Hell yea!
I currently live in Peace River and race the PMA and CMRC circuits throughout the summer, ice race in the winter and attend an AX if money happens to not be a issue at the time. The Peace River valley is home to the 2-stroke and has been for many years. I currently race a 06' KX250 and a '07 YZ250 and '99 YZ125. I have heard a great many things about the new Kawi's and would love to have an opportunity to race a factory supported bike at an AX event during the 09/10 season. I am a Vet Junior and placed top 5 in the Alberta Provincial Series '09. I placed 13th in the PMA 250 junior class as well.I am a diehard 2-smokerand love nothing more than to beat the thumpers to the podium.
With 70 moto's to my credit for the '09 season, slammin 3 classes per day: fitness is not an issue. It has been two weeks since the weather took a turn for the worst up north and most guys have their rides put away for the season.
Mine is no exception but is ready to go at the rise of the mercury which is supposed to happen Oct 16,17 and 18th. If you guys are interested in discussing this opportunity or would like to see me in action please check out my profile at www.mxsponsor.com or shoot me an e-mail. thanks for reading.

Factory for a day! My name is Jason and I would like to have a factory bike for a day. I ride a Kawasaki KX65 and enjoy beating KTM 65’s. I had a good year at the Mission Tuesday night series wining every race. If I get the chance I would like to come out to Chilliwack arenacross and ride a new factory set up bike. It sounds like a really fun time, I might even try a double jump on the new bike. eiswage@bp.com

My name is Derek Tullis, I'm 17 years old and have been racing for 4 years now but on a bike since I was 4. I race Tuesday nights at Mission in the Junior class on a 250f. Next season I'll be in the Intermediate class. Enough of the introductions. I would love to be a factory rider as my profession but understand the sacrifices these top riders make to get that far. If I could be one for a day it would be the best jump start into this career one could ever hope for. Sure riding a factory bike would be awesome but feel the whole team experience is what it's all about.
Thank you for the opportunity.

Hi my names Travis Potgieter, Im 18 years old and I race a 250f in the junior division. I have grown up around dirtbikes my whole life, but each year finacial struggles have always cut my enjoyment of the sport short. Since a kid I have always dreamed of getting a chance to show my talent to someone influencial in the sport, I always believed if someone gave me a factory ride for a day I would be able to race like a pro and impress everyone, now that I'm older I've learnt that its not the bike its the rider, but a factory ride does help. I work 2-3 jobs trying to make ends meet to ride and keep my bike running. I love motocross and its been my goal for the past 3 years to race arenacross, this year Ive saved up enough to race the first 4 rounds if my bike holds up. And my dad promised to come out and watch me race. I would love to get the chance to impress my dad and show him how much I love this sport, I feel if I get the chance to be factory rider for a day, I will not only be living my dream, but I'll also have that oppurtunity to push my riding to the next level and show everyone what Im made of. Thats why I would love the chance to be factory rider for a day
thanks

p.s Ive also always wanted to try a kxf

KX me for a day!

AS a 38 year old mom of 2, money for the new and shiny stuff is pretty tight. I currently ride a suzuki 250F, a 2006 which I have had the shocks redone, some bearing, brakes, etc all the basics, and of course new plastics and graphics.

I've only been riding for 3 years, but love it!

Recently, my partner, Dino Gatt, has coached me to the point where I am doing some double jumps on our home track, and at our friend's place too. To me it is amazing that I went from an overweight 35 year old mom of two to a person who loves riding and starting to get the height and proper landings on these jumps. Whoa! Starting to not ride like such a "mom".

We have our 5 year old racing, Dino still races in the older dude classes, and so I was checking the dates to see if we should do the ax this year.

When I saw this chance to ride a brand new bike, I wondered...would my landings be smoother on a hot new bike? Would my throttle shyness go away when I heard and felt it rip underneath me?

So I decided to leave a comment/blog for the same reason I race...it's fun, and you can't do well if you don't try...

Hopefully you will pick this lady to try out the new KX250F.

Hello Factory for a Day
My name is BJ Moffatt I am 30yrs and grew up in a small town in Northern called Worsley. This past season I have been racing in the Peace Motocross Association (PMA). I have accomplished 1st overall in the 250 Junior Class and 2nd overall in the 125 Junior Class I have also entered other classes such as 30 Plus and Vet Junior. I have raced over 30 motos this 2009 season and have finished the top ten in every moto. I am currently riding a 2008 YZ450F and a 2008 YZ250F. I also have started my own race team this year called X-TREME RACING is consists of 12 local riders that are close friends and family, ages ranging from 5-40yrs of age. I have built a motocross track in my back yard and hosted 2successful PMA races. I could not have been able to do this without the help from my wife and local family and friends. Since the races have came here to this small community there has been alot more people who have puchased dirt bikes and quads. I have a wife and 2 sons that have suported and have travelled with me to every race this 2009 season. I hope someday that my sons will become fulltime motocross riders when they grow up. I am not sure if I am perfect to be your Factory rider for a day but would sure appreciate it. It would make my dream come true. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.

His focus is to improve and by far motocross is his passion righ now more than hockey!!In his spare time Kyle likes to go motorbiking with his family. He loves to hang out and ride and he will go all day until you say thats enough!!His father works hard to support this and takes the time to ride with him and help him improve.Kyle turned seven last month and rides a KTM 50 Junior.(Jacobs old bike)! He would be so thrilled to win this and what a memory it would make!He plans to race arenacross this year as much as he can.GO KYLE!#24

Hey names Matt Emms i am 22 years old and ive been racing in the pma for 8 years and have learned a lot in that time. One of the things ive learned is to love the sport no matter how tough things go and give it all you got with a smile at the end of the day. I raced my 2009 kawasaki 450f last year in the intermediate class and placed in the podium every race i attended not bad considering i just moved up from a 2 stroke 125. Thats not what its all about, What it is about is, dreams and every motocross racer has a dream my dream just happens to be up at that line with thousands of people watching, just that one race so i can say that i did it i lived my dream. Ive struggled to do it on my own paying for everything since i was just a boy, mowing lawns and shoveling driveways until i was old enough to get a job and i think this would be good karma catching up with me to say good job and give me a chance in what i want thanks for your time.

My Name is Dominique Ashley-Pryce. I amm 11 years old. I ride 85 Kawi and ATV. I have been riding since I was 4. My mom and dad have always made this sport a family sport. We always try to travel to as many races as we can. My dad works really hard fixing bikes. And if all goes well he will ride that day. I love our daddy daughter time. My mom is always making snacks for me and all my friends. Well I would love to be one of your riders for a day. I have always wanted to win. But even if you don't pick me maybe you can think of my Sister Danika. She rides a 65. She had a hard year this year. She had a lot of break downs. I really felt bad for her. Because no matter what happened to her she always cheers me on. Thank you.

Hi my name is Danika Ashley-Pryce. I am 10m years old. I ride a 65. I have always wanted to be the kid that wins rider for a day. Some of my friends have wun it before and they all said they had a great time. I love to ride but I really love to race. My sister and I are always trying to beat each other on the track. I think that is what makes it so fun. We practice together and tease each other on who will cross the finnish line first. My dad rides to. He is a real good rider. I love how he helps me when I am having trouble. I think my daad would be very proud of me if I wun not that he is not always proud of me. He could use a break not having to rush me and my sister out there and try to ride to. Sometimes he never stops running. Thanks for the chance to win. Danika Ashley-Pryce

Hi, my name is Stuart Hollyoake, I’m 20 years old and from Calgary. I have been riding for 6 years and racing for two. I am currently racing an ’07 kx250f in junior A. It would be an awesome opportunity to be a factory rider for a day because it would be a amazing experience. Motocross is my life, the only reason I work is to pay for racing and any chance I get I drive to the local track and ride laps. In February I am going to Phoenix to ride and think this would be an awesome way to finish my season in Canada. It would be awesome to be able to ride alongside some top pros, have the chance to ride a new bike and just the atmosphere of being on a factory team. Thanks for the chance.
